that make up my life and who I am
the broken pieces put together again
memories put in boxes, packed up and hid away
notes scratched on paper
the words I couldn't actually say
this is my life, a constant cover up
for all of my love for the things I've lost
and now I'm moving on, not hiding from what I've done
and now I'm moving on, with a good idea of what I want
and now I'm moving on, and I know I'm not the only one
and now I'm moving on, I've just begun
now they've faded further, I can't make out any shapes
their meaning has been erased
memories taken from boxes, unpacked and thrown away
no feelings left on paper, not afraid of what to say
and now I'm moving on, I've just begun
